The trail follows forest roads and paths through commercial timber forests down to the Nissan river valley. Be careful crossing "Nissastigen", or roadway 26. The trail crosses the Nissan in the outskirts of the old industrial community of Oskarsström. After the last house in the village, the path leads slowly uphill and then down again to the next river, called the Sennan. The trail passes by the Virsehatt Nature Reserve. There is a magnificent view over the area from the top of the hill. Note that there is currently no lean-to shelter in Ryet.
